Description
A simple reset.
Olive oil and shea butter with activated charcoal and kaolin clay. That’s it. No scent, no extras, nothing to react to. Just a quiet bar for skin and hands that need to be met without being asked to do anything back.
Activated charcoal and kaolin clay both work by adsorption, meaning they pull excess oil, environmental grime, and pore-clogging residue toward themselves and off the skin. Charcoal is deeper and more assertive. Kaolin is the gentlest of the cosmetic clays, mild enough for reactive skin. Together they clarify without stripping, which is the balance most charcoal soaps miss.
Shea butter tempers the whole thing, adding a superfat layer that keeps the bar creamy and moisturizing rather than tight and drying. Olive oil carries the base and gives the bar its silky lather. Cured for six months so the finished bar is mellow and hard.
Ideal for oily or breakout-prone skin, hands that work with soil, ink, grease, or paint, and anyone who wants a fragrance-free bar with real function. Deeply cleansing and quietly powerful.
Ingredients
Olive oil, shea butter, water, sodium hydroxide (lye, none remaining after saponification), activated charcoal, kaolin clay
Suggested use
Wet the bar, work into a lather, and use on hands, body, or wherever you want a deeper clean. Follow with a light oil or moisturizer if skin feels tight afterward. Store on a well-drained soap dish out of standing water to preserve the six-month cure.
Handcrafted and cured for six months in Fort Collins, Colorado.
