Welcome

🌿 About GreenWitch Gardens

GreenWitch Gardens was created as a place to come home to yourself.

A place where you can step away from the noise, reconnect with the wisdom of the natural world, and remember that healing doesn’t have to be complicated. It begins with paying attention. To your body. To the seasons. To the plants growing around you. To the sky above your head.

I believe every one of us can reclaim our health, our intuition, and our relationship with nature. My work is about helping you do that through herbal medicine, astrology, seasonal living, education, and practical skills you can actually use in everyday life.

The Wheel of the Year shapes the way I work. The plants I choose, the medicines I make, the rituals I share, and the things I teach all move through the seasons with us. What supports us in spring may look very different from what we reach for in the depths of winter. Sometimes the intention stays the same while the plants change to meet the season.

That rhythm is woven into GreenWitch Gardens.

Whether you’re just beginning your herbal journey, learning to read your birth chart, crafting your first tincture, or weaving all of these things into a way of life, you’re welcome here.

This is medicine and magic rooted in the real world and in the living rhythms of nature.

Hi, I’m Nikki.

I’ve been walking the herbal path for more than twenty years, first as a curious home herbalist, then as a community herbalist, clinical practitioner, educator, and lifelong student of the plant world.

Today, I teach herbal medicine at Front Range Community College, where I help students understand the body as a living ecosystem and plants as intelligent allies rather than simply ingredients or supplements.

My curiosity has never stopped at plants. For more than a decade, I’ve also immersed myself in astrology, fascinated by the rhythms that shape our lives and the invisible cycles woven through nature and human experience.

Along the way, I’ve studied natural skincare formulation, botanical medicine making, wildcrafting, gardening, and the traditions that have helped people care for themselves long before wellness became an industry.

The longer I work with plants, the more I notice how much timing matters. A plant has its own qualities, but so does the season. So does the landscape. So does the person standing in front of you.

That has changed the way I formulate and teach.

Nature already knows how to heal. We simply have to learn her language.

What You’ll Find Here

GreenWitch Gardens is more than an apothecary.

It’s a place to learn herbal medicine from the ground up through Becoming an Herbalist, explore the relationship between plants and planetary cycles through Cosmic Herbalism, discover seasonal rituals and recipes, learn to craft botanical skincare, and build a life that moves with nature instead of constantly pushing against it.

The apothecary follows the seasons, too. Every quarter brings a new collection of botanical preparations, medicines, beauty formulas, rituals, and tools. Some familiar functions return throughout the year, but the plants change.

A nervine formulated for spring might call for bright, uplifting herbs. The same kind of preparation in winter might lean toward deeper, quieter allies. A summer digestive blend has different needs than one made for the slower months of autumn.

I love that.

It means the apothecary stays alive.

Some people come here looking for herbal remedies.

Others come for astrology.

Some simply want to grow a few medicinal herbs or make their own elderberry syrup.

Many discover that these paths naturally weave together into something much bigger: a way of living that is slower, more intentional, and deeply connected to the living world.

My Philosophy

I don’t believe health is something we chase.

I believe it’s something we cultivate.

Like a garden, it asks for patience, observation, nourishment, and trust in the seasons. There are times to grow, times to rest, times to prune, and times to simply allow life to unfold.

We are seasonal creatures.

Our bodies change. Our energy changes. Our attention changes. The world around us changes. Yet modern life often expects us to keep the same pace all year long.

I’d rather pay attention to what is actually happening.

Sometimes that means reaching for stimulating herbs and doing more. Sometimes it means nourishing, slowing down, simplifying, and letting things rest. The medicine changes because we change, too.

That idea runs through everything I make and teach.

When I’m teaching herbal medicine, interpreting an astrological cycle, formulating skincare, making a seasonal bath, or sharing something from my kitchen, I’m always paying attention to the same things: the person, the plant, the season, and the moment we’re in.

Work with the body.

Work with nature.

Let the medicine change as the season changes.

A Life Rooted in Plants and Planets

GreenWitch Gardens isn’t just the name of my business.

It’s the way I live.

I grow, harvest, forage, make medicine, study the skies, teach, write, and continue learning every single day. This work follows me from the garden to the classroom, from my apothecary to my kitchen table, and through every turn of the Wheel.

You’ll see that rhythm throughout GreenWitch Gardens: in the plants I choose, the medicines I formulate, the products available in the apothecary, the potion-making videos I share, the lessons I teach, and the Wheel series exploring beauty, medicine, and magic through the cycles of the year.

The garden changes.

The sky changes.

The body changes.

So the work changes, too.

My hope is that what you find here helps you feel a little more rooted, a little more confident, and a little more connected to the wild wisdom that has been within you all along.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Come in, stay awhile, and let’s make medicine and magic with plants and planets together.
